Hi John, I have received the 3 splints for my finger and have worn
one for 24 hrs. thus far. Once I adjusted the tightness to suit my comfort, I almost forgot I had it on. I'm mailing you a check tomorrow and thank you
very much for the quick delivery. My tennis partner will be happy to see my rapid recovery too!
Hi, I just ordered 12 more splints-can you please overnight them-I love your splints!
Hi John, Well I am in week 2 of using the
splints and I like the design quite a bit... I want to order 12 more, I think that should see me all the way through... the splints really are great...
comfortable and easily removed and put back on, letting the finger "breathe" once in a while... don't know how I would be making it thru this with the
big metal monster the doctor here put on my finger a few weeks ago. Congrats on a great product, Thanks
The mallet injury to my left ring finger seems healed, 8 Weeks May 10th and
I'm playing my guitar again. I've got a nice assortment of six string
acoustics that have been languishing. The strength is coming back enough
to play, but I still have to make adjustments.
Hello~The splints arrived promptly on the 22nd, and they fit just fine. Thanks for the extra tape as well. I appreciate all your help.
It is one year and seven months since I ripped the tendon in my ring finger whilst submission wrestling. I tried the plastic finger splint at first but found it limited my movement in everyday life. Once I found the quicksplint I found that,
because the fixing was on top of the finger I was still able to have some sort of motion. I kept the splint on for approx. 4 months and still wore it whilst training with extra strapping on.
I am pleased to say that my finger has made a complete recovery and if anything is a little straighter than the same finger on my right hand! I am able to touch type again with my finger and play the guitar. The Quicksplint was excellent when doing sports as it didnt seem to get as sticky as the plastic splint and with the extra bandage I could make it as secure as I needed. I am so glad I found the website and am still thankful to John for the support
and information that was given at a time when I was panicking a bit! After all, my finger was a very funny shape!! If you need any referrals or for me to discuss it with any body else who is having similar problems please do not hesitate to let them contact me via this email address. Thanks once again.
I received your splints yesterday and payment is being forwarded. I am really impressed with the versatility and ease of wear.
The other finger braces were terrible to say the least. By way of introduction, I sell medical supplies and would like to promote the Douglas Splint. After the emergency room doctor told me that the standard plastic splint is the "gold standard" I would like to detail the docs on the new "gold standard" in my area.
Your product is the best design that I have found for use to provide support with comfort to a mallet finger injury during athletic activity.
Interestingly, the occupational therapist to whom the head of hand trauma surgery referred me for splinting was unaware of your product. I just had my 12 week follow visit with the doctor and he said all is well, healing is going great.
The idea is really great. Altogether, your splints helped me a lot. My finger is OK. Thanks!
Thanks for the follow-up. My son did resume playing baseball using the splint. He wasn't at his regular position but he did play and was able to throw the ball and also swing the bat.
